This is interesting because of how much "boozy" is mentioned (to cite rum is to say there are tropical fruit, dark sugar, and even "funky" terroir tones).

Just picked this up, and as others have said, the bottle and packaging does not indicate accurately the scent inside.A very impressively blended, comforting, leather/tobacco scent sweetened with benzoin giving it almost a warm honey vibe. I feel like I could just have these and have a fine collection (just binge bought 4 different bottles).

Things change after fragrance opens when its goes with smell of WOOD-DECAY FUNGUS, but not like freshly cut wood like in Bentley Absolute. It opens with a nice boozy rum note, accented by bay which tempers some of the sweet notes, making this fragrance hit the goldilocks zone for sweetness. On this note, anyone that likes this fragrance should wear it regardless of gender identity if they like it. Later, the scent is very dry and rather serious, as a barky cinnamon and earthy patchouli linger heavily over the solid cedarwood foundations.after using 5 bottles in 6 years I can surely say this is my signature scent and have become one of my all time favs!

Bentley for Men omits the brash spices of a traditional Jamaican bay rum mix and adds elegance to the formula. Yes the intense is stronger, but I found what makes it stronger is the added incense note and it over powers the rum. first spry you will feel its very cheap like your drive golf 84 in very hot country but after 30 minutes it will be bently 2013.

I don't know, maybe the crown messed up my olfactory perception, but firstly, there are no such notes in the pyramid, and secondly, maybe the fragrance is "off" and doesn't sound right yet. This is really nice though its powerful so beware of the sprays, it starts low and just keeps growing off you for hours. The initial impression (mostly due to the violet, I imagine) is one of a clean-laundry airiness, with perhaps a less obvious dewy aspect. Bentley For Men Azure is a unique and wonderfully refreshing example of a luxury woody, fresh and spicy fragrance. I can't wai tto see what this dries down to for the end stage, but I will be asleep by the time that hits tonight.
