The fight is quite simple, really. The only curveball for the Standard defenders is thatLoyalty Councilor enemies can spawn from time to time. If they do, run up and melee them. As long as aLoyalty Councilor is active, you cannot harm the StandardLiberator enemy type, meaning they can approach and take the Standard you're attempting to defend. Part 6 - Emperor Calus Boss Fight

The Crystals is kind of a small room with a lot of vertical space to it. You'll be killing various Vex enemies, and eventually Void Cannons will spawn. You need to grab one of these and find one of the purple crystals that are randomly spawned on the walls of this room. Use the Void Cannon to destroy the crystals, and you will gain points towards completing this room. The final Menagerie Boss, Pagouri, is quite the challenging foe. He's surrounded by a giant forcefield, but you can goad him out of it by standing on the white Vex plate in the centre. Keep your eye out for many, many adds and stay on the plates to inflict damage. I am reminded of the Chaos Dwarfs in the Warhammer universe, soon to come to Total War: Warhammer 3, where Dwarf physiology is so opposed and resistant to magic that the Chaos Dwarf Sorcerers slowly turn to stone as their body rejects their sorcery. I’ve always been enamoured with that concept and I think it is interesting to consider it for Calus, if this golden skin is not simply an aesthetic choice but is a a progressive or degenerative condition related to his consumption by despair and greed and the Witness’ beliefs. There are going to be a lot of different combinations of runes to create specific weapons with specific perks, but Bungie offered one “freebie” so far. For a “Beloved” Sniper Rifle with Handling as its Masterwork trait, you would use a Rune of Jubilation, any red rune, and any purple rune.
