Giulio was once heir to the biggest mafia empire in Europe, his father is Fausto (the hero of books 1 and 2) and we saw why and when Giulio fled from his family’s home in the previous books. Giulio has been kind of on the run since, after not being accepted by some of the heads of families in their mafia world because of his sexuality and he’s been wanting to make his own way since. Alessio is a sniper assassin who was hired to take out Giulio but can’t seem to pull the trigger when he has him in his sights. So we see Alessio following his target, Giulio all around Europe and their very lust-filled infatuation with one another. They decide on a temporary truce for one month to enjoy one another! I think I'll also settle for a 3.5 for this one. I look forward to get to Giulio's book at some point he's one of my favorite characters from the series. I was so excited to get to Mafia Madman because it was Enzo's book and I knew this man was about to be more unhinged than he already was. Gia is living in Milan, Italy and interning at a fashion house. She has dreamed of becoming a fashion designer and after her sister Frankie’s marriage to a mafia boss in the previous book, Gia convinced their father to let her leave Canada and come to Italy too. While working, Gia, always the rebellious sister, uses a fake last name. When a model isn’t available and Gia has to step in for a private showing for an investor, she ends up catching the eye of Enzo. Enzo immediately recognizes Gia and knows she’d be the perfect part of his revenge plan against her sister and brother-in-law. He convinces Gia to go out with him and after an explosion and kidnapping, Gia finds herself being held captive on Enzo’s yacht!

I have read Mafia before and it is always intense with torture and illegal dealings but I wasn't aware of how hot that gets when you add this into their chemistry. His family, years of work, almost his life, too, are all stolen from Enzo. It took him four years to rebuild his entire empire, while in secret, he plotted, planning to make them all suffer just like he did. When a perfect weapon falls into his lap, who is he to say no to that? Except Gia does not appear to mind a single bit of his darkness. Instead she likes it, and even welcomes it. Also can we talk about the fact that Gia has her kewchie pierced? Can I get more of that please? Also the spice and dirty talk in here was at a higher level than books 1 & 2 and I really don’t know how she managed to top that. I’m so excited to get to the next book I know my heart might just burst then.

And, this obstinate girl learns she likes to submit, be a little bit degraded, when it’s in the arms of a man worthy of her, that she loves. And her submission as much as her fire melt the walls around Enzo’s heart. But there are SO many obstacles between them, including a few twists and unexpected moments.
