Description

Four singles were released from Hybrid Theory: "One Step Closer", "In the End", "Crawling" and "Papercut", all of them being responsible for launching Linkin Park into mainstream popularity.

Two years later we made the move to our present address, 35 The Headrow, where we have remained ever since. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Hybrid Theory is the debut studio album by American rock band Linkin Park, released on October 24, 2000, through Warner Bros. Formed in 1996, Linkin Park rose to international fame with their debut studio album, Hybrid Theory (2000), which became certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Recorded at NRG Recordings in North Hollywood, California, and produced by Don Gilmore, the album's lyrical themes deal with problems lead vocalist Chester Bennington experienced during his adolescence, including drug abuse and the constant fighting and divorce of his parents. When the first track from a band’s debut album gets added to major rock stations four weeks before its official release, it must be something very special.

This pressing is very good, one which I only partly disagree is as amazing as many posters here have rated it. Released in October 2000, Linkin Park’s groundbreaking debut album Hybrid Theory is a melting pot of heavy alternative rock, hip-hop and electronic flourishes, and was instrumental in creating a new genre of music. In April 2022, Shinoda revealed the band was neither working on new music nor planning on touring for the foreseeable future. The technical storage or access is strictly necessary for the legitimate purpose of enabling the use of a specific service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user, or for the sole purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network. Since 2000, when Linkin Park debuted, no other artist has had more top 10 singles on the Alternative chart, and no other band has achieved more No. Recorded at NRG Recordings in North Hollywood, California, and produced by Don Gilmore, the album's lyrical themes deal with problems lead vocalist Chester Bennington experienced during his adolescence, including drug abuse and the constant fighting and divorce of his parents.
