The Epilogue was lovely but soooo long that it took the fun out of it. Authors need to know when to stop, or their editors need to use their red pen more!! Now there's a new man in my life, one who isn't afraid to go after what he wants, and what he wants...is me. let me just say, the hype is real! i went into this pretty blind, not knowing much other than a few of the tropes and i’m so glad i did. this book is by far one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking books i’ve ever read.

The smut doesn’t start until about 50% in. It really disturbed me that he didn’t wear a condom or even discuss birth control with Ari yet he supposedly cared about her. They’re 18 and 21. They weren’t ready for a baby yet.

Starting out I loved this book. I couldn't put it down! I love a good brother's best friend trope! The adventures their little group went on were fun and it was cool how close they were. I confess part of my draw to this title was seeing Lee Samuels was on board. He does not disappoint! He is the perfect Noah. Noah goes through so much and you feel it all: sweetness, lust, devotion, sorrow, determination, and of course most important, love.

Say You Swear is set in a fictional town called Say you Swear, which is a play on the phrase “say you swear.” Arianna is getting ready to start her first year of college and she hopes this is the year she can finally be with the man of her dreams. Chase. Her brother’s best friend. But things with Chase do not go as planned. Ari is in a close knit, family like friend group that consists of Ari, Cameron (Ari’s BFF), Mason (Ari’s twin brother), Brady and Chase. It puts a strain on the friend group at first, but things start to normalize. i have never felt so deeply for book characters in my life, the love i have for them is unreal. i felt so at home reading about them and their relationships, and seeing how they develop through the book. and i am in awe of the characters and how beautifully they go together. Anyway… other than that minor inconvenience, the book was perfection! I loved every second of it! And I noticed that Meagan Brandy’s writing style has improved a lot since the last time I’ve read a book of hers and I’m very proud of her for that!!Every girl wanted a bite, but who could blame them? They were model students, star athletes, and undercover bad boys. No matter a girl’s type, one of the three was sure to fit the bill. i have never felt such an array of emotions until reading this. it truly is the definition of an emotional rollercoaster 🎢 with an ending that is well worth the wait. Also, can I just add a more general observation. This is not particular to this book only, I’ve seen this done 100 times before and that’s the overprotective brother routine. For a long time, I’ve fantasised about what my life might be like if I went to college, and even if certain details shifted over time, there was always one element that remained the same. The angst was insane, my heart got shot to smithereens more times than once, but amongst all the emotional angst was such a profound feeling of love for our hero, he was everything I seek in my book characters, steady, hot, caring, he went above and beyond for our heroine.
